  • Activities/Excursions

    The Bernese Oberland region offers a great variety of excursions. In the immediate proximity is the station to get to the Niederhorn.

  • Arrival and parking

    Private car: Please drive via Interlaken West even if the route planner suggests via Gunten - Sigriswil. Thus, the approach is usually possible without snow chains even in winter. The road between Sigriswil and Beatenberg is often closed. Otherwise we will be happy to inform you in advance if the road is open. You will find the hotel shortly after the Hotel Dorint on the left side. The parking spaces are distributed around the hotel and are available free of charge. Three of the parking spaces are located across the street above the small driveway.

    We also have an electric charging station for your car. Please reserve these in advance. The cost is CHF 20 per charge.

    Public transport: You have two possibilities to reach the hotel by public transport. You can take the train to Interlaken West and change to the post bus in the direction of Beatenberg. The bus stop is called Hubel and is located directly in front of the hotel. The second possibility is to take the bus from Thun / Interlaken to the stop Beatenbucht. There you change to the funicular and ride to Beatenberg. From the top station the hotel is a 10 minute walk or by post bus to the Hubel stop.

    Alternatively, we are happy to offer you an airport transfer.

  • Bed size

  • Reservation

    If you book directly via our homepage, the visitor's tax worth CHF 3.80 per person per night is included. If you book via another platform, these are still to be paid on site.

  • Check-in / Check-out

    Check-in is possible from 4 pm to 8 pm.

    Check-out is from 8.30 am to 12 noon.

  • Dry cleaning, ironing service

    For dry cleaning you can leave your clothes at the reception. An ironing service is available at the hotel upon request. Please contact our staff for this.

  • Decoration, Birthday, Anniversary

    Upon request, we can decorate your suite for your birthday, anniversary or just because. For example, we can decorate the room romantically with fabric rose petals. We can also organize flowers for the next day or prepare a birthday cake.

  • Food and drink

    You are welcome to help yourself to the refrigerator, fruit platter and snacks free of charge. A bottle of red wine and white wine are included in the price. If you have larger needs, you are welcome to choose from our wine list.

    For breakfast, vegan options are also available and for lunch and dinner, vegan dishes are also included in the hot options. You can have lunch and dinner with us or outside the hotel: We are happy to make reservations for you at the local restaurants in the area, such as Gloria, Dorint, Luegibrüggli, Riedboden, Regina, Vorsass, Niederhorn.

    Breakfast

    Breakfast is taken in your own room. The evening before you can tick a selection of different, also vegan dishes on the breakfast list and leave this list in front of your room door. In the morning, a breakfast basket with the desired dishes will be at your door from 8:30 am. The contents are refrigerated, so you are independent of time. Upon request, the basket can also be provided earlier. Hot meals (toast, egg dishes and bacon) can be ordered in the morning by phone (+79 555 03 45) or the evening before, specifying a desired time. All meals are brought directly to the room.

    Lunch

    If you wish to have lunch, we will be happy to order hot food for you. You can choose from a selection of dishes. Alternatively, we can prepare a cold platter with local meat and cheese for CHF 30.

    Dinner

    You have the possibility to choose between cold platter and hot dinner. If you do not order a hot meal for the day of arrival, a cold platter with local cheeses and meats and antipasti will be ready in the refrigerator of your suite. We will be happy to bring complimentary refills.

    The cold platter is included in the room rate on the day of arrival, but you can have hot food instead for an additional charge of CHF 30 per person. If you would like hot meals on the day of arrival, please let us know at the time of booking or at the latest the day before arrival. Upon arrival, you can choose from a few menu suggestions, including vegan options. The meals will be brought to your suite at the time of your choice, where you will have enough space for a leisurely meal in your room or on your own balcony / terrace.

    Would you also like hot meals on the second or third day? Please let us know by 5 pm on the day in question (ring the reception bell or call +41 79 555 03 45). It is not necessary to make a reservation before arrival. You can choose from different menus. On the following days, the cheese and meat platter costs CHF 30.- and the various hot dishes CHF 40 (vegetarian) or CHF 50 (with meat) per person.

  • TV, radio and Netflix

    In each suite there is a TV with access to various channels, radio and Netflix. If at Netflix the hotel log-in is not logged in, please contact us.

  • Deposit luggage

    You are welcome to leave your luggage with us. Please report to the reception.

  • Hotpot

    The Viva Méxiko suite has a hot tub on the balcony with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and Lake Thun. The price per use is CHF 90.00. Please bring bathing suits.

  • Dogs

    Dogs are allowed in the Route 66 and Viva México suites. The other suites are not suitable for dogs and unfortunately cannot be booked with a dog. We charge an additional cleaning fee of CHF 30.- per stay. Please note that you are bringing a dog under remarks when booking. We have a dog blanket and food bowl which we are happy to provide in the room.

  • Children

    Children are also welcome here. We are happy to prepare a baby bed free of charge on request. Please let us know in advance. In the Viva México, Route 66 and Masai Lodge suites there is the possibility of an extra bed for CHF 100 (from 6 years).

  • Massage

    We can now offer a massage appointment in the suite on advance booking/request. Trio massage, combination massage, partial massage or back massage. For an appointment, you can contact Doris Schmocker on 079 213 28 37 or we will be happy to help you at the reception desk.

  • Bring with you

    Bathrobes, slippers and terrycloth linen are provided in all suites. If you need more, let us know at any time.

  • Prices

    Room rates vary according to room size and day of the week and range from CHF 460.00 - 660.00 per room per night. The price and availability for the corresponding date can be checked at https://www.zeithotel.ch/en/booking.

  • Smoking

    Smoking and lighting candles is not allowed in the suites. You are welcome to smoke on the balcony or terrace.

  • Cancellation policy

    From 3 days before arrival we charge 90% of the total price of the stay.

  • Power voltage

    In Switzerland, the voltage is 230 volts and two-pin (type C) and three-pin (type J) plugs are used. We recommend carrying an adapter if necessary or can provide you with one.

  • Wi-Fi

    The free Wi-Fi for our guests is called "Hotel Zeit & Traum", the password is in the guest brochure.

  • Winter sports / Snowshoes

    The sports store Sport am Berg rents equipment for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The website is sportamberg.ch.

  • Wishes?

    Do you have a request? We are there for you around the clock in case of emergencies or breakdowns. We are happy to answer non-urgent questions between 8 am and 8 pm. If the reception is not manned, you can reach us at +41 79 555 03 45 or with the bell at the reception.

  • Additional blankets, pillows or adapters

    Please contact the reception desk. We have adapters for common international plugs. Of course, additional blankets and pillows are also available.
